Bellow are the changes from firmware version 1.9.5. if your firmware is more recent version, some features may have been implemented already. (Latest NetShare Ver. NetShare 1.0.8.)
About DVI output,
1080P mode was added since 1.9.5. However, because1080p is near the limit of hardware , it may show unwanted artifact depends on the combination of display device, DVI cables or the TViX unit. The official specification of M4000 and M5000 is up to 1080i and we do not guarantee the 1080P mode.

1. Support FLAC playing
a. We checked the possibility of playing APE, but we found it can not be supported due to HW limitation.
2. Support Internet Radio
a. Support only Shoutcast servers
b. To make station list, you must make M3U or PLS files.
c. Requirement : Must be connected to Internet and the network setting must be set properly.

4. Improved screen saver
a. It will start if there is no input on browsing mode, pause mode of video or playing audio without slideshow.
b. If you play audio files with slideshow, it will not be started.
5. Improved compatibility of AVI and ripped DVD
6. Fixed the problem that happens while playing TS/TP files from USB external device, specially ODD.
a. Better support of ODD
b. Smooth play from scratched media
c. Note : We recommend use ODD at lest 40X. If ODD is not fast enough, you may have some unsmooth playback.
7. Add "-" and "_" when you input characters with remote. It will shows after "@", ":" and "/" when you press 1.

a. Fixed DVD wrong information problem.
b. You can see the remaining time by press Info key two times.
10. Now, you can play playlist for Autorun
a. When you play a playlist for Autorun, you must not put any other files on Autorun folder.
11. Improved Icon browsing mode and bug fix
a. Make a empty file named as "icon.tvix" on the folder that you want to browse by icon.
b. The file name for the file used for the icon files is case sensitive, it must be the exact same name as the media file except that the extension must be jpg or png(if you want to use transparency, set the transparency color as 0xC8C8C8.)
c. To show the folder as icon, please put "folder.jpg" or "folder.png" on the folder.
d. You can customize the upfolder icon by put upfolder.png or upfolder.jpg on a folder. You will see the changed the upfolder icon when you are on the folder.
· The maximum icon size is 720 * 480, and the best size is 100 * 136 for JPG.
· If you want to make transparent icons, you must make it PNG and the size must be 100*136.
12. The clock will be shown as 24H.
